Description
Hydromist Timer Spray is an advanced nano airborne and surface decontaminator that will protect
you, your staff and your customers from the airborne transmission of COVID-19 24 hours a day for an entire
month.
The aerosol dispenser can be programed to adjust the time at which the Hydromist is sprayed allowing you
to control the frequency and on which days to spray. As COVID-19 is an airborne virus it is imperative to
decontaminate the air of any potential virus when in closed or poorly ventilated buildings. Science has
recently confirmed the virus can remain airborne for up to 3 hours and travel distances as far as 10 meters
when in poorly ventilated settings.
Hydromist was tested by the University of the Free State and proven to have a 100% kill rate against airborne pathogens which include enveloped viruses such as SARS-CoV-2 which causes COVID-19.

ARMSCOR conducted a long-term efficacy test on Hydromist against staphylococcus aureus for a period of 5 days. On day 1, Hydromist demonstrated a 100% efficacy, day 2 to 4, Hydromist demonstrated an efficacy of 99.925% and on day 5 the efficacy increased to 99.944%. The efficacy test confirmed that Hydromist was able to prevent the regrowth of the staphylococcus aureus originally seeded on day one. In addition to the efficacy test, ARMSCOR also conducted an air normalisation test which demonstrated that the nanno active ingredients in Hydromist remain airborne for 1 hour and 45 minutes. 60% of the nanno active ingredients in Hydromist settled to the surface within 20 minutes, making the environment safe to re-enter after 20 minutes. This test proved that the nanno active ingredients were able to remain airborne for a long enough period of time to attached to any airborne pathogens present in the air.
Professor Duse, who heads up the NHLS (National Healthcare Laboratory Services) and his team from Wits University have formulated a priopriotry efficacy protocol for Hydromist and are currently conducting an efficacy test on HYDROMIST against a number of deadly pathogens found in hospital settings. The results of this efficcacy test will be forthcoming once they have concluded their efficacy testing.
Intertek conducted two efficacy tests and one toxicology study on Hydromist. Both efficacy tests were conducted in accordance with the European efficacy standards. The EN 1276 confirmed that HydroMist produced a log 5 (99.999%) reduction. The EN 1650 confirmed HydroMist produced a log 4 (99.99%) reduction. In addition, Hydromist passed the SANS 1828 toxicology study and was proven to be food safe and noncorrosive.
